The entire Democratic Party voted in favor of the bill. A majority of the Republican Party remains opposed, but a minority has been in favor which has allowed the legislation to pass in what has often been perceived as a gridlocked Congress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill will go to the White House where it is expected President Biden will sign it into law.
