Demonstration at Suffolk County Police Headquarters, Hauppauge, New York by members of Gay Activist Alliance, December Fourteen, Present.
On December Fourteen, Present, a special agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) observed approximately forty individuals demonstrate at Suffolk County Police Headquarters, Hauppauge, New York. The demonstration started at approximately twelve noon and was sponsored by the Gay Activist Alliance. During the course of the demonstration, three demonstrators were arrested for assault.
A source who has provided reliable information in the past advised that the identities of those arrested were not known at this time. However, the persons arrested were two males and one female. The source advised that those arrested are being charged with assault in that they hit [redacted] Suffolk County Police Department attached to the district attorney's squad with fists and folded newspapers. No injury reported. Source advised that the demonstration was a result of the arrest of two members of the groups earlier this month on charges of sodomy.
