The Record Shows ...

One out of three men discharged from the Armed Forces were discharged for neuro-psychiatric reasons. This is exclusive of the 163,000 Army men and 91,563 Navy men discharged administratively for such reasons as psychopathic personality, mental deficiency, drug [addiction], or homosexuality. (Cong. Record, August, 1950)
