Die Sexuelle Frage ("The Sexual Question" in English), is a book written by Auguste Forel in 1904 which attempts an examination of human sexuality from a scientific perspective and does touch on some LGBTQ topics.
Notable Topics
- The book discusses early models of conversion therapy through "psychoanalysis combined with hypnosis". It attributes the success to experiments by Steinach.
- In the chapter discussing homosexuality, states that Urningism (an early term for gay men) is "very widespread" in Brazil and other European cities.
