The LGBTQIA+ Archives are a project to begin digitally archiving and documenting queer history. The project was an idea started by Winter Cashman (they/them) in 2019, and has become a blog and wiki in 2021 which continues to expand and grow.
What We Do
Our goal is to document and archive all media and history related to LGBTQIA+ communities. Viewers are able to submit old photos, news articles, and other media to help us expand our galleries and allow others to see history through the eyes of everyday LGBTQIA+ people. Once submitted we can connect the media to events and people in history and create a more immersive experience of our community history. We welcome submissions by email or social media.
