The LGBTQIA+ Archives are a project to begin digitally archiving and documenting queer history. The project was an idea started by Winter Cashman (they/them) in 2019, and has become a blog and wiki in 2021 which continues to expand and grow.
The LGBTQIA+ Archives seeks to create a publicly accessibly universal index for exploring LGBTQIA+ topics. The archives began in 2019 and has continued transcribing public domain works including newspapers, government records, and other available materials. In addition, the archives attempts to link external resources within a topic in order to provide a broad basis of discovery for any individual interested in learning more.


 
This archive is a work in progress that continues to be expanded on.

To connect history projects and archives into an easily findable directory. In addition, acting as a digital repository where viewers are able to submit old photos, news articles, and other media to help us expand collections and allow others to see history through the eyes of everyday LGBTQIA+ people.
