"Paris, May 17 (Jewish Telegraphic Agency).-- The death in Nice of Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld, 67, German-Jewish authority on sexual problems and pioneer advocate of sexual 'reform' was announced yesterday.
Dr. Hirschfeld, who has been living in France as an exile since the Nazis came into power in Germany, died Wednesday. He was compelled to flee after the Institute of Sexual Reform in Berlin, which he organized in 1918 and which later was taken over by the Prussian government and renamed the Magnus Hirschfeld Institute, was raided and destroyed.
Dr. Hirschfeld visited America several years ago."
