== 1915 Lectures on Homosexuality ==

In 1915 Emma Goldman and other anarchists traveled across the United States holding lectures on several topics, including: monogamy, birth control, labor issues, and early gay rights. From [[Edward Carpenter (1844-1929)|Edward Carpenter]]'s [[The Intermediate Sex (1908)]], Emma Goldman shared perspectives supporting LGBTQIA+ rights in the early 20th century. According to Mother Earth, a publication she helped produce, it was well received and attended by even physicians at the time. The tour went to Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and several others.
