The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation has a long history of entrapping, investigating, and spying on LGBTQIA+ organizations. J. Edgar Hoover as FBI Director had one of the most infamous programs on LGBTQIA+ people and organizations, known as the Sex Deviates program.
